When evaluating a corn starter program look for the following:
- Uniform emergence (same day ideal)
- More roots than shoots (3:1 ideal)
- Uniform Tassel (pollen shed and silk present same time for all plants)
- Hasten Maturity (7-10 days earlier)
- Drier corn at harvest (1-3 points drier)
