TURF EXCELLENCE™ STARTER 5-16-16 is a source of ortho-phosphate designed for foliar and soil applications where supplemental phosphorous and potassium are needed. Derived from di-potassium phosphate, this product is highly plant-available, yet has a low salt index.

TURFGRASS: Apply 0.5 to 3 gallons per acre in sufficient water for coverage. Repeat every 14 – 30 days during the growing season.
ORNAMENTAL, NURSERY, AND GREENHOUSE: Apply 0.5 to 1 oz per gallon of water. Apply at 2nd leaf stage and then at 14-day intervals.
Maintenance: Apply 1 – 2 gallons per 100 gallons of water. Spray foliage to run off. Apply at 2-4 week intervals.
FRUITS, NUTS, AND VINE CROPS (Apples, Citrus, Grapes, Peaches, etc.): Apply 1 to 3 gallons per acre 3 to 4 times per season starting at ¾ leaf to first full leaf. Apply again at early fruit and nut development, fruit mid-size, and 3 to 4 weeks before harvest or as needed to size fruit.
SMALL FRUITS (Blackberries, Blueberries, and Strawberries): Apply 1 to 4 quarts per acre beginning pre-bloom and repeat as needed every 14 to 30 days
